Do you want to drive transformation and strengthen public meals?

We are looking for an experienced leader who wants to take responsibility for an operation where quality, efficiency, and social benefit go hand in hand.

For us, food is more than fuel – it should provide energy, joy, and a touch of gold to everyday life. Within the business area, we serve thousands of meals daily to hospital patients and the elderly, as well as to visitors in our open restaurants. The operation is conducted both in large, central production kitchens with chilled food delivery – where production, logistics, and flow optimization are crucial – and in reception and preparation kitchens close to our guests. The business area is also responsible for the operation of patient hotels with services in meals, cleaning, reception, and ancillary services.

Your mission

In this role, you will lead a team of managers and have overall responsibility for the business area's results. Through your leadership, you will ensure stable and well-functioning operations, where businesses and contracts deliver high quality, strong service culture, and good profitability. Strategy is translated into operational success, and you create conditions for the business to achieve both economic and operational goals.

With full P&L responsibility, you will drive the business forward, work closely with customers, and lead development across the entire business area. You will report to the Segment Director and be part of the segment's management team, where you contribute with a holistic perspective and strategic work for the segment's continued development.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Leading and developing existing contracts with a focus on service, quality, efficiency, and long-term customer relationships
  • Driving change and improvement in a complex and dynamic contract environment
  • Ensuring operational excellence and high service levels across the entire business area
  • Leading and developing managers and cross-functional teams, as well as building a strong and unpretentious team culture
  • Collaborating with operations, finance, and support functions in a matrix organization
  • Identifying and driving new business opportunities, innovation, and scalability

Who are you?

You are an experienced and confident leader with a proven ability to drive business in the public sector, preferably within meal services or the food industry. You combine commercial focus with an engaged, inclusive, and situational leadership style and thrive in an environment of change and development.

You have strong production business acumen, understand complex flows and logistics, and can make decisions that balance quality, efficiency, and customer benefit. You are analytical and strategic, yet pragmatic and action-oriented in execution.

More about you:

  • Documented experience in leading and driving meal or service contracts with large clients
  • Deep experience in change management and transformation in dynamic contract environments
  • Business development and strategic experience with the ability to identify new growth opportunities
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in complex organizations
  • Financial responsibility with experience managing P&L, budgets, and follow-up
  • Strong focus on operational quality, service delivery, and process improvement
  • Preferred: experience in food production or meal services
  • Preferred: post-secondary education in a relevant field
